4th ODI: South Africa VS England

Welcome to the update on 4th ODI played between South Africa and England.

Grandmaster's Review:
A truly one-sided contest, from the beginning till the end it was all end. A decision by South African Captain Graeme Smith to bat first was back-fired. The home team was bowled out for a cheap 120. A lethal spell of bowling by James Anderson earned him career best of 5-23. Great application of batting by Peterson who hits his third consecutive half-century in his debut series. But there was no support to help South Africa manage a respectable score on seaming wicket.

England chased the target with ease. Smart and intelligent by the opener Jonathan Trott who has blossomed into a fine player. Some good bowling by Mclean and off-spinner Botha caused few hiccups in the England's batting.

The series is 2-1 in England's favor. England have a great chance to become a first non-Australian team to win bilateral ODI series against South Africa in South Africa. Whereas South Africa will be trying every inch to save series defeat for the first time at home since 2002. Its everything to play for in the 5th and final One Dayer at Durban on Friday. See you then!!

3rd ODI Capetown: South Africa VS England

Get subscribers

Welcome, here you will get some updates on 3rd One Dayers between the tourist England and host South Africa.

Grandmaster's Review:
A desperate performance by South Africa in a desperate match. The happy luck of winning the toss paid off for Southe Africa done wonders for them. Great start by openers Smith and Amla, followed by marathon century from DeVilliers and a tremendous finishing by Peterson batted England completely out of the game.

While chasing England got off to a quick start, then some resistance by Collingwood. But their efforts were hindered by comeback bowler Parnell with 5 wickets haul for him.

The Series is now leveled 1-1 and the fourth ODI is on 29th Nov. To me, this match holds a significant importance for both sides. The fact that will make the match interesting is that no body sides want to lose.
We see then. Bye Bye!

2nd ODI : South Africa VS England

Grandmaster Review:
Professional Performance by England. After their bowlers were heavily spanked in the 2nd T20, they came back well and reduced South Africa to a modest score of 250 on a good batting wicket. Amla and Peterson batted sensibly and late contribution by Mark Boucher steady's South African batting when the chips were down.

England chased the target remarkably well. Thanks to Collingwood  with an outstanding century making South African toil hard. Jonathan Trott has given him a long-time support to help England complete their target. Veteran batsman Kevin Peterson who make batted for the first time since April in the West Indies, was dismissed cheaply showing signs of rustiness.

This match sets up the remaining 3 matches nicely. South Africa being strong on their home soil are expected to backlash. They will have to play without key all-rounder Jacque Kallis. I can t wait the for  showdown in  Cape Town which will be an absolute cracker.

2nd T20 South Africa Vs England

Welcome, here is some insight into the 2nd T20 Match between South Africa and England at SuperSports Park, Centurion, Pretoria.

 Grandmaster's Review:
What a match!! An ideal entertainment for the crowd in the picturesque ground. All kinds of opening records broken. Capt. Smith and Bosman displaying the show with their hard-hitting skills. Massive and huge sixes by both these batsmen dominated the match. The target!! well! it was beyond England's reach. Despite the return of their veteran batman Kevin Pieterson, they almost batted within themselves, trying to established themselves in the side. This to me is the boring and dull part of the match.

The two-match T20 series performances by both sides ensures the healthy competition between both sides. This sets up nicely for an exciting and promising 5-match Odi Series. Like all of you fans, I am also eagerly looking forward to it. Till then, Bye Bye!!

2nd odi newzealand vs pakistan

Same kind of game but this time the pendulum has swung the other way mcculum's dashing innings took the game out of pakistans hand. Styrus wobbly bowling has done magic to blast away pakistans hopes.

grand masters review on the match

Newzealand was out classed in every department of the game. Newzealand couldnt cope with abu dhabi conditions. Pakistan already have more exposure in these conditions and were likely to outperform new zealand. the atmospher of large pakistani spectators helped pakistan to lift there game.
