Pakistan Vs South Africa at St. Lucia, West Indies.

A must-win match for both competitive side, it was Asian team that came outta the game with flying colour after registering an emphatic victory. Electing to bat first, Pakistan were in trouble at the start. ||Thanks to Akmal Brothers that rescued the teams ship out of the pit. Captain Afridi made a useful part with his typical cameo. The standout was Umar Akmal who scored his way to useful half-century that helped Pakistan post a respectable score of almost a century-and-a-half.

In reply, the South Africans got off to rather sluggish start posting just 49-2 in the opening 10 overs. Thanks to some tight bowling and unlikely spectacular catches, the set batsman deVilliers and even dasher like Morkel could whack the ball when it mattered. Royal Challengers Bangalore v Mumbai Indians at Bangalore

The game marred by a blast outside the colorful stadium faced a delay start. It brought emphatic victory!! for Mumbai Indians to maintain the top position in the IPL points table. A slow start by a make-shift opener Mclaren and a blistering aggression by Jacob Duminy ensures the visitors posting a high score of 192. All the bowlers got punishment in the closing overs mainly by Duminy.

A desperate-needed start was impeded when early wickets were lost by the home side in their chase. South African veteren Kallis who helped Bangalore chase high targets twice already this season, was dismissed cheaply by his countryman Maclaren with a searing yorker. Peterson tried to keep the chase in the hunt but disciplined bowling by experience Indian spinner Harbajhan Singh saw the back of him early. V Kohli offered some resistance but it was too late as asking rate was almost a dozen per over. Exciting West Indian Pollard was the standout Indians bowling with 3 scalps.

The IPL has almost reached its climax ahead of the looming Semi-finals. Mumbai are geared well for it while Bangalore are still in the top 4 to make it to the last four. All roving eyes are on the road to the finals now

Chennai Super Kings VS Delhi Daredevils at Chennai

A strange game of cricket in many ways. The match dominated by a rarely low-scores. Chennai, the host, batting after winning the toss got off to disastrous start. Some resistance by Badrinaath help them post some sort of total. Some tight bowling by Nehra kept Chennai innings in check.

Delhi got off similar bad start. But a hard-toiled innings and full-of-character knock by captain Gambhir steer the ship home for the tourist in the penultimate overs. It wasn t all that convincing given the amount of total posted by Chennai.

The IPL is in its last week. Nobody wants to mistake at critical juncture of this much-popularized tournament.

Chennai and Mumbai Shines

Hello,
I m back after a long time. With cricket matches around the world at its peak , I have returned to my normal routine now. I m will keep on making cricketing analysis.

IPL is the major talking point in the cricket sphere nowadays. There is already so much excitement as tournament is progressing and as it is half way through it has waiting get more at its climax.
Here is the todays matches presented in a nutshell.

Chennai Super King VS Rajhastan Royals at Chennai.

Wow!!! What a game to watch. I ve enjoyed every bit of it.

This match has turned out to be game with major records broken. Tremendous century by Vijay who now becomes second top innings scorer ever in IPL history, help Chennai post the highest total in three seasons of IPL. Tremendous fighting attempt in a chase by Rajastan Royals only to come close to the target ensured most runs scored in the match in IPL ever.Watson his first game of the season, after concluding from the New Zealand tour, threatened to chase the target down Royals. But his dismissal my his native Bollinger turned the pendulum in host favour. The match is summarized with raining sixes from both sides. It was almost a dream entertainment for the crowds packing the beautiful stadium full.

Mumbai Indians Vs Deccan Charger at Mumbai

It was truly convincing wins for dark blues. A solid foundation laid by Tendulkar and Herculien Tiwary, and a late awesome blitz by the wicketkeeper enable Mumbai set a high score of 179.

Some hope for the defending champions in their chase when Gibbs and Gilchrist got the teams to a flying start. Their dismissal impeded their chase. The lower order didn t last long either. The Deccan after all didn t charged tonight as they bundled out for lowest score in their IPL history.

4th ODI: South Africa VS England

Welcome to the update on 4th ODI played between South Africa and England.

Grandmaster's Review:
A truly one-sided contest, from the beginning till the end it was all end. A decision by South African Captain Graeme Smith to bat first was back-fired. The home team was bowled out for a cheap 120. A lethal spell of bowling by James Anderson earned him career best of 5-23. Great application of batting by Peterson who hits his third consecutive half-century in his debut series. But there was no support to help South Africa manage a respectable score on seaming wicket.

England chased the target with ease. Smart and intelligent by the opener Jonathan Trott who has blossomed into a fine player. Some good bowling by Mclean and off-spinner Botha caused few hiccups in the England's batting.

The series is 2-1 in England's favor. England have a great chance to become a first non-Australian team to win bilateral ODI series against South Africa in South Africa. Whereas South Africa will be trying every inch to save series defeat for the first time at home since 2002. Its everything to play for in the 5th and final One Dayer at Durban on Friday. See you then!!
